The same size as Lego's previous mini-tractor (#8281 from 2006, available for astronomical prices), this is one of Lego's low-cost Technic sets for 2009. The most ingenious aspect of the set is the way in which pieces model the actual curves and angles of a real tractor. The coloring is well-done too. The bucket is user-controlled from a knob in the rear that drives a worm gear. My only negative comment is that the forward wheels are a tad wobbly. Still, this has proven a robust and fun toy for my son. As with many of the Technic sets, children younger than the 7-14 recommendation can still have a great time with the tractor, but an adult will likely have to help build the set.Get more detail about LEGO Technic Mini Tractor.
