We don't usually spend this money for a toy, but we bought it as a special reward. It is an awesome toy.
There are a lot of steps to creating the trains. Yet, even though the toy says that it is for ages 6-12, our 5 1/2 year old was able to assemble it himself. He just wanted us to be nearby, but one he got started, he was able to follow the directions and create the trains and small station. He had many days of fun creating the trains, but now that it is done, he loves playing with it.
