Purchased this "starter set" for my 3-year old nephew because it was the only Thomas Duplo set that included the train tracks. "Start" with this set because the other (less expensive) Thomas Duplo sets only contain a train car with a few accessories. The Duplo are large & durable; perfect for small hands. It also contains a good number of pieces (windmill, signal tower, train station, Thomas, freight cars, and train tracks) for the high price.
