My Grandchildren wanted a Starwars Lego set. I did some product research and decided on this item. It has many small pieces and was difficult for the 8 year old to assemble. In fact, he had to have his uncle assemble it. Although it made a nice toy when finished, I would not suggest this as a play item. It was a lot of money for a bunch of plastic.
