I bought this for my 9 yr old nephew for Christmas. He was much more interested in his Xbox, unfortunately, to give it much attention. And he lost one of the disks almost right away, but it does have a handy holding spot. Once we found the disk (took a couple days) I showed him where to keep them, but expect that they will get lost again. At any rate, despite that he did not get into the game, I really liked it and so did my five year old. he stuck to only two games (one that is like simon says and another where it tells you which disk to slide under and you have limited time). The rest of the games were a bit too complicated. And those two games even got to be too hard for him after a bit. So, if you have an slightly older child (maybe 6 and up?), that actually plays with something other than their video game machine and is slightly responsible to not lose pieces, then this is a great buy.
