We rec'd this toy as a gift when our youngest turned 1. We love it! She's now almost 2 and along with her 3.5y old sister, they play with this every time they take a bath. I'm guessing there were some design flaws initially that have since been fixed as our boat floats as does the life preserver. The toys are great fun.
