Purchased for our 21 month old. We were pleased that the boat stays afloat and doesn't tip. We do wish the front paddle actually reached the water line so that when it is spun it would throw water. He's not strong enough to squeeze the fish and doesn't really play with the included animals much, but he does like to put things in the boat.
