we thought this was really cool, but so far our 9-month old doesn't seem to agree. when he was younger he would chew on it a bit (but it's not very good for that! the squishiness meant he kept poking himself in the eye with it). but now he's really not interested in it at all. maybe if you have a very contemplative kid that likes to sit still, this might be good. my hubby and i find it pretty transfixing, but our son prefers things he can bang together or knock over. it is good for grabbing, but he seems to prefer the big oballs over this since they roll. oh well. Get more detail about Skwish Classic (Boxed).
