This has been a great interactive toy for my daughter. we got it for Christmas and I was amazed at how long she played with it and how fast she got the concept of pulling the fish out. First she crawled to it when she heard it making noise, then was fascinated by the two lights that softly flash inside (not too bright,not too fast). I think the lights and music are what encouraged her to reach in and explore. She gets bored easy with so many toys, and I think a non electronic put and take toy wouldn't have gotten results so fast, or been as fun for her.
