Order Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper

My son received this toy for Christmas when he was about 10 months old. The first time we turned it on for him, he was stricken with terror. I put the toy up on a shelf and every time he walked past it, he would get a nervous look on his face. However, when we would have older kids visit, it was the favorite toy, hands down. So I held onto it, hoping our boy would take an interest eventually. And he did... he is now 13 months old and he LOVES it. He presses the start button on his own, chases the balls around the room, drops them into the track, and jumps up and down clapping his hands along with the music. It's pretty funny to watch and keeps him occupied for long stretches of time.

Downsides:
The music is very loud and, like many children's toys, annoying. The lack of a volume adjuster is a serious design flaw. Also, the recommended age is 9 months & up. I think 9 months is really too young for this toy. It's more fun for the child once they can stand & walk unassisted (and chase the balls around the room unassisted).
